The situs address is the actual address of the property. Billing address information is not necessarily the same as situs address information. Situs addresses are not kept for all properties. Situs address information is updated continuously. This Data Product also supports the NENA Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) Core Services (NGCS) implementation guide. This Data Product is designed to support location validation and routing, both geospatial call routing or to the appropriate agency for dispatch. This Data Product is one of several GIS data layers (layers) used in local Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) and response agency mapping applications for handling and responding to 9-1-1 calls. This Data Product is one of the Required and/or Strongly Recommended layers which are utilized by the Emergency Call Routing Function (ECRF) and the Location Validation Function (LVF) and can be used by other public safety functions. This Data Product schema is primarily based on the “NENA Standard for NG9-1-1 GIS Data Model” document (NENA-STA-006.1.1-2020, DSC Approval: 02/18/2020).
